On April 13th, 2024, Tempe, Arizona, will host the 20th Annual Pat Tillman Run. This iconic event, which has grown exponentially since its humble beginnings in 2004, is a testament to the enduring impact of Pat Tillman’s life and the values he embodied.

What is the Pat Tillman Run
This annual run, in which thousands gather to run or walk a 4.2-mile stretch in Tempe, allows the community to unite and honor Pat Tillman’s memory while supporting the Tillman Scholars program. Along with the run, this foundation also provides educational scholarships to veterans, active-duty service members, and their spouses committed to service in medicine, law, business, policy, technology, education, and the humanities.
A Growing Tradition
Over the past two decades, the Pat Tillman Run has grown from a small, local event to a global phenomenon, attracting nearly 30,000 participants yearly. The run is open to athletes of all ages and abilities, with families, kids, and adults with disabilities all welcome to join in the celebration of Tillman’s life and legacy.
One of the unique aspects of the Pat Tillman Run is the diversity of the participants. From elite runners to casual joggers, from veterans to your average joe, the event brings together people from all walks of life who are united in their admiration for Tillman and desire to support the Tillman Scholars program.
Our Involvement
