WAREHOUSE STOCKER
Job Summary: As a Warehouse Stocker, you will have complete ownership of a specific area or groups of areas within the warehouse, or product lines. Complete ownership of designated areas entails all base stocking responsibilities, along with additional tasks and responsibilities.
Qualification Guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Assist the receiver with unloading and receiving product safely in accordance with PSP policies and procedures.
- Assist the receiver with staging and segregating product in designated areas.
- Break down product, as necessary.
- Aid in the labeling of recently received product.
- Stock product according to PSP procedure:
- Double-check label to ensure product was correctly labeled by receiver.
- Locate correct slot location.
- Rotate product properly according to dates and follow FIFO (FIRST IN FIRST OUT) methodology.
- Check dates for expired product.
- Warehouse Cleanliness:
- Responsible for cleanliness.
- Remove loose straps and wrapping from pallets.
- Sweep up debris from broken pallets, product, and packaging.
- Maintain product slot locations by doing slot location audits.
- Take initiative to condense and re-slot items based on:
- Movement
- New products
- Creation of pulling efficiencies.
- Assist Inventory Control in taking daily inventory of specific product lines (Beeler’s, Gelato, etc.)
- Assist Inventory Control with performing investigations on shorted items from designated areas.
- Monitor all expiration dates, communicate with Inventory Control, and procurement team on items that are going to expire soon, or that have recently expired.
- Take an extreme detailed-oriented approach to product rotation.
- If product is not being rotated properly during different shifts, communicate the issue.
- Follow all HACCP, SQF, and OSHA rules and regulations.

- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
