Inside Sales Executive
Job Summary: The Inside Sales Executive / Customer Service Specialist is a talented, motivated individual who thrives in high-pressure situations and consistently exudes professionalism. You must be comfortable making sales calls, as well as working with the sales team and responsible for National Accounts, working with the warehouse, and buyers to achieve our sales goals and objectives. You must also express a willingness to learn as much as possible about Peddler’s Son processes and procedures, as well as the produce industry itself. This position is responsible for maintaining customer relationships, effective and timely conflict resolution, aiding the AR team with necessary paperwork, and managing communication between the office and warehouse.
Qualification Guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to take orders and effectively resolve problems.
- Work effectively with outside sales team and distribution center to facilitate sales activity.
- Complete order entry with correct pricing entries.
- Help outside sales force with interoffice needs i.e. price lists, credit memos faxing, etc.
- Manage customer and distribution relationships on product needs and delivery times.
- Communicate and negotiate pricing.
- Prepare required documentation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ability to resolve customer issues effectively and timely in a direct manner and/or communicate with distribution center.
- Help Accounting (A/R) team receive proper paperwork on customer credit information while also taking active part in the collection/payment process.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include sitting for extended periods of time and operating assigned office equipment. The employee may assume a sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
